Key discussion points
Introduction round: New participants Britta Neustadt and Caroline Waltes introduced themselves. Overview of roles and responsibilities within the B2B Optic environment.
LC7 status: The introduction of LC7 remains open. For testing, lens manufacturers need to maintain corresponding data so that software vendors can validate their systems.
SF6 and colour codes: Discussion on Fielmann's requirement for four-digit colour codes. In the SF6 standard, colour codes are currently limited to three digits. Mapping tables between internal and external codes were discussed as a possible solution.
Lens geometry: Questions regarding the representation of lens geometry in SF6 were discussed. Nicole Spaeth explained that the geometry in SF6 is comparatively simple and all values are kept positive.
B2B Optic wiki and forum: New participants were pointed to the wiki and forum. Questions and requirements should be documented and discussed there.
Prism and cylinder pricing logic: Clarification that P1 to P6 are used exclusively for price determination and are not exported as options.
